Smart Watches
We have noticed an increase in children wearing smart watches to school as a result of Christmas.
Although we encourage devices to tell the time and of course to promote fitness, please speak to your child about using their watches responsibly in school – they are not allowed to use them to call anyone, take pictures, record people or play games during lessons.
Any child who is found to be doing is in breech of our school rules of being safe, ready and respectful. Therefore, we will call you about this and your child will not be allowed to wear their watch to school for a period of time.
We appreciate your co-operation with this issue as we want all learners to be safe in school and we respect their privacy including that of staff.
