Homework

Homework is something we looked at this session and we changed back to paper-based home learning and we have gathered statistics over the year.

On average, under 50% of children in every class complete their homework and research has shown that homework is not effective in raising attainment in Primary Schools.

Therefore, we are proposing that we do not have homework next session as it is a lot of preparation for staff who could be spending more time preparing for class lessons as less than half the children complete it.

There is a question in the Parents' Night survey for you to voice your views on this.
